Get away whenever you can for some great all year round fishing
All-Season Fishing
January - March
Early January can be bitterly cold at night but with some lovely sunny days. The catfishing can be very slow between January and the end of February but the carp fishing comes into its own and can be extremely productive. Most places in Europe are most probably frozen!
Catfish will start feeding again in early March as the weather begins to warm up. The carp fishing is still excellent throughout March and April it can be very warm with the possibility of some rain.
April - June
April and May are two excellent months for the carp and catfishing. May especially can be fantastic for the cats as they are heavy with the spawn and come back on the feed with a vengeance. June and July are probably two of the best months for catching large amounts of cats. The weather is very hot and stable, some big catches are possible here!
August
This is generally the extremely hot month. The cats feed extremely well and the carp are very active after dark.
September & October
As with anywhere in the world these are probably the two best months to come fishing on the EBRO. Its very hot and the cats are feeding hard!! Putting on the pounds before the temperature begins to fall.
November & December
It starts getting colder at night now and its your last chance to catch some cats before December draws upon us and becomes too cold for the beast. Don’t despair though, this is when carping comes into its own once again throughout the cold winter months. Check out our excellent value Winter Carp Fishing holidays.
