The Fishing
The fishing on the EBRO at times can be electric with multiple catches of carp and catfish; hence the river getting the reputation as Europe's premier runs water ! Although rare, the EBRO can also fish hard at times, like any other fishery. The carp in the EBRO are growing fast with the average fish between 15lb and 25lb, although shoals of carp with 30lb and 40lb fish are not uncommon.
Although smaller carp are present they tend to become food for the ever hungry catfish which are now in excess of 200lb in the EBRO, although the average size catfish is between 75lb and 150lb, still very impressive, especially when its pulling your arm our of its socket!!!
All the fish in the EBRO are extremely fit and sometimes seem bionic, this all adds to an arm aching fight every time from this impressive river.
